Ronald K. Watanabe, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Watanabe is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry, where he was the first optometrist to complete their Residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses. He spent 28 years as a Professor at the New England College of Optometry where he taught courses in Specialty Contact Lenses and mentored Residents in Cornea and Contact Lenses. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Diplomate in their Section on Cornea, Contact Lenses and Refractive Technologies. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and Past-Chair of the Association of Optometric Contact Lens Educators.
John P. Deshaies, O.D.
Update: Dr. John Deshaies welcomed his 2nd baby boy this past weekend, and all are doing well.
Dr. Deshaies graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He is a native of nearby North Reading, MA.
Nadia S Zalatimo, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Zalatimo is a graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. She completed the Residency in Ocular Disease at the Baltimore Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, after which she accepted a faculty position at the New England College of Optometry. She served as Chief of Optometry at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Manchester, NH for over 10 years. During this time, she expanded their eye clinic and created a new Residency in Ocular Disease. She is currently on staff part-time at VA Manchester where she takes care of our veterans’ complex eyecare needs. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
